Sunday Summer Brunch on the Patio
Savoring the Blooms of Summer
We're planning a late Sunday morning gathering, before the afternoon sun begins to warm the garden. Beneath the shade of our Ficus tree, the air is cool and refreshing - the perfect place to linger and relax.
The garden is in full color, and we want to enjoy every bloom before summer quietly gives way to autumn.

Dahlias are at their peak, petunias dance in the breeze, snapdragons and dianthus continue to brighten the garden, hummingbirds fly by, and bees move from flower to flower, reminding us to slow down and savor the season.
Our table will be simple but welcoming. Warm croissants and toast with artisan honey and fruit preserves, fresh orange juice, some bubbly, and a pot of tea. A small board with whipped butter, a sprinkle of Fleur de Sel, and perhaps a bowl of fresh fruit are all that's needed. Fresh flowers gathered from the garden along with a few lemons or oranges (or both) nestled into a large glass vase, if available, become the centerpiece - bringing the colors of the season right to the table.
There's no elaborate menu, no strict schedule, and no expectation beyond enjoying one another's company. We believe the most meaningful gatherings are often the simplest - where conversation flows easily, another cup of tea is always welcome, and no one is watching the clock. 🥂🌿
We're taking a moment to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us. The flowers won't bloom forever, but the memories made around the table will linger long after the season has changed.
We hope this inspires you to gather a few fresh flowers, set a simple table outdoors, and invite someone to join you. Sometimes the most memorable mornings are the ones that ask for nothing more than good company and a little extra time.
Because the beauty of summer isn't found in how much we do - it's found in taking the time to enjoy it. 🌿☀️🌸
